An array of colors capture the sunlight's last gasp as it dances over the water ripples of Clear Lake at Cedarhurst. I channelled my nostalgia for Minnesota summers on the lake into the vivid colors in this sunset and its reflections on the water.
This artwork is so personal to me and one of my absolute favorites. Mark-making is such a relaxing, grounding, and joyous experience. Painting the light dancing on water ripples in this one was a dream.
