"Haloed in the Trees" features a Pileated Woodpecker resting on a tree haloed by a circle enclosing a green sunlit forest. Shapes of the bird, tree bark and circle background are cut out against a white background. The effect is a confident composition composed of individual parts that seamlessly interplay.
